LIVING IN URUGUAY
As an American-German, I have called Punta del Este home for more than 15 years. Having arrived here from abroad myself, I understand both the excitement and the questions that come with discovering a new country and imagining a life here.
As a mother of three, I’ve experienced Punta del Este not only as a beautiful place to live, but as a place to raise a family. I understand the things that matter when families are finding their way for the first time — choosing the right area, schools, distances, communities and all the small details that eventually make a place feel like home.
Horses have always been a passion of mine, and through my children I’m actively involved in the equestrian world here. That connection has given me a particular appreciation for the countryside surrounding Punta del Este and a strong understanding of chacras, country estates and equestrian properties — from the land and location to the practical details that make these properties work.
For me, finding the right property starts with understanding how someone wants to live. Whether that means a home by the ocean, a country estate with room for horses, or a private retreat in the hills, I combine my knowledge of the area with the perspective of someone who once discovered Uruguay from abroad herself.
